Minimal techno, electro and experimental textures shape a late-night set by Polish-born, Detroit-raised DJ and producer Magda. The 21-and-older event takes place Saturday, August 15 at Jolene Sound Room Miami in Downtown Miami.

Magda emerged from Detroit’s underground electronic music scene before joining Richie Hawtin’s Minus label and touring internationally as his opening DJ. Known for adventurous track selection and intricate layering, she has recorded mixes for BBC Radio 1, Fabric and the Balance series, released the album From the Fallen Page and remixed artists including Plastikman and Depeche Mode.

Located beneath the Julia & Henry building, Jolene Sound Room is an intimate basement venue inspired by midcentury recording studios and 1970s leisure culture.
