Mahj 102 with Mahj

A refresher class for American Mahjong players focuses on building confidence and improving decision-making at the Miami Beach Botanical Garden. Taking place Tuesday, May 12, Mahj 102 with Mahj in Miami is designed for participants who already know the basics and have completed Mahj 101.

The session reviews key elements of play, including the Charleston, proper dealing and strategies for reading the table more clearly. Guided instruction helps players think through their choices, reduce second-guessing and approach each hand with more ease.

Instructor Abby Wyss, owner of Mahj in Miami, has played Mahjong for nearly a decade and teaches students across a wide age range. Optional yearly Mahjong cards will be available for purchase during the class.
