Mainly Mozart Festival: Rhapsody in Blue
May 30, 2026
From: 4:00 PM to 5:30 PM
Pianist and arranger Vyacheslav Gryaznov brings Gershwin’s Rhapsody in Blue into an intimate recital setting through his G-Phil Virtual Orchestra project. Presented by the Miami Chamber Music Society, the performance takes place Saturday, May 30 in The Gallery at The Betsy in Miami Beach. The concert is part of the 2026 edition of the Mainly Mozart Festival.
Gryaznov is known for piano transcriptions that translate orchestral color and scale into virtuosic solo writing. A graduate of the Moscow Conservatory and Yale School of Music, he is a Schott-published artist and the author of more than 40 concert arrangements, with a repertoire that highlights both technical command and a symphonic approach to the piano.
The program features George Gershwin’s Rhapsody in Blue, performed with the G-Phil Virtual Orchestra, along with selections from Gryaznov’s own piano transcriptions. Guests should enter The Betsy at 1433 Collins Avenue for access to The Gallery; valet parking is available through the hotel entrance at 1440 Ocean Drive.
