Mango Gang at Michael's Genuine

Florida mango season anchors a one-night collaborative dinner at Michael’s Genuine® Food & Drink in the Miami Design District. Mango Gang at Michael’s Genuine takes place Tuesday, June 30, with reservations beginning at 6:30 p.m. Hosted by chef Michael Schwartz, the dinner brings together Norman Van Aken, Allen Susser and Cindy Hutson for an evening rooted in Miami culinary history, seasonal ingredients and shared storytelling.

The $175 dinner is designed as an intimate celebration of mangoes and their place in South Florida cooking. The participating chefs helped shape modern Miami dining through ingredient-driven menus, tropical flavors and regional approaches that continue to influence the city’s restaurant scene.

Opened in 2007, Michael’s Genuine® Food & Drink is Schwartz’s neighborhood bistro known for relaxed service, local ingredients and straightforward cooking. The restaurant received Bib Gourmand recognition in the first Florida MICHELIN Guides in 2022 and 2023.
