Manje Pou Viv
Jul 05, 2025 - Sep 27, 2025
every 2 weeks on Saturday
Starting: 3:00 PM
Learn to cook authentic Haitian dishes in a lively, hands-on setting that blends cultural tradition with a focus on health and nutrition.
Returning to the Little Haiti Cultural Complex on select Saturdays at 3 p.m., Manje Pou Viv is a free, family-friendly culinary and wellness class created by a Haitian registered dietitian and her mother. This multigenerational series offers a new recipe each session, inviting participants to explore nutritious takes on traditional Haitian meals while cooking alongside fellow attendees in small table groups.
Held on July 5, 19, August 2, 16, 30, and September 13 and 27, the series encourages regular attendance but welcomes drop-ins. Free health screenings are also provided by Jackson North Medical Center.
Space is limited. For more information or to RSVP, visit Eat Well Exchange.
