Matute: Disco Stereo Tour
Apr 24, 2026
Starting: 8:00 PM
A full-scale tribute to the pop and rock anthems of the 1980s and 1990s takes center stage as Mexican band Matute brings its high-production concert experience to downtown Miami. Known for transforming classic hits into arena-style spectacles, the group blends live instrumentation, elaborate lighting and multimedia elements into a nonstop celebration of Latin and international favorites from the MTV generation.
Formed in Mexico City in 2007, Matute has built a devoted following across Latin America and the United States with themed tours that spotlight different eras and formats of retro music culture. Their performances often feature medleys of songs by artists such as Mecano, Hombres G, Soda Stereo, Miguel Mateos and La Unión, alongside English-language pop and rock staples, all delivered with polished musicianship and theatrical staging.
Matute: Disco Stereo Tour arrives at the James L. Knight Center on Friday, April 24 at 8 p.m. The downtown venue’s theater layout, with unobstructed sightlines and acoustics designed for large-scale concerts, provides an immersive setting for the band’s dance-driven setlist.
