Miami Pre-Thanksgiving Freeestyle Concert

Classic freestyle and dance music take over Miccosukee Casino & Resort for a pre-Thanksgiving concert featuring artists associated with the genre’s 1980s and ’90s heyday. Presented Saturday, November 21 by Charlie Rodriguez Live Entertainment, the evening brings together veteran freestyle performers, DJs and a newer Miami-area artist for a multi-act showcase.
The lineup includes:
- TKA featuring K7, known for tracks including “Maria,” “Tears May Fall,” “Scars of Love” and “One Way Love”
- Judy Torres, performing favorites such as “No Reason to Cry” and “Come Into My Arms”
- Lime, the Canadian dance act behind “Babe, We’re Gonna Love Tonight,” “Guilty” and “Your Love”
- Rockell, known for “In a Dream”
- Gucci of 2 Without Hats
- Betty D of Sweet Sensation, whose group recorded “Hooked on You,” “Sincerely Yours” and “Love Child”
- Will @ More
- SAMY, a Venezuelan-American recording artist from Doral working in Miami’s freestyle and dance music scene
DJ Jorge Santana and DJ Fate of Rewind 103.9 Radio will provide music throughout the evening. Doors open at 6 p.m., with the concert beginning at 8 p.m.
