Miami Seafood Festival with US Paella Championships

Seafood vendors, island music and a national paella competition fill Tropical Park during a two-day festival spanning Miami, Caribbean and Spanish flavors. The event takes place Saturday, January 30 and Sunday, January 31, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Presented by The Mario Pi Company LLC and the United States / Spain Gastronomy Association, the program combines casual outdoor dining with culinary demonstrations, live entertainment, wine tastings and upgraded hospitality experiences.
Festival areas include:
- Seafood Market & Bar: Lobster rolls, ceviche, oysters, shrimp, crab claws, fish tacos, paella and other dishes available for purchase
- Little Caribbean District: Tropical foods, spices, tourism exhibits, cruise and boating activations and island-inspired vendors
- Surfer Eddie’s Dockside Brew & Cocktail Bar: Beer, rum, tequila, cocktails and lounge seating in a coastal setting
- Island Music, Dance & Entertainment: Reggae, soca, calypso and Cuban music alongside dancers, percussionists, limbo and fire performances
- Miami Coastal Lifestyle & VIP Lounge: Lakeside seating, jazz, premium beverages and outdoor-living displays
- El Mercado de España and Paella Village: Spanish food and products, flamenco, chef demonstrations, wine programming and the U.S. Paella Championship
The championship takes place Sunday from 3 to 5 p.m., with 15 chefs preparing paella over open flames. The winner advances to the World Paella Day Cup competition in Sueca, Spain. The Paella Village also features more than 50 mini-villas offering tapas, cheeses, wine, crafts and cultural experiences.
Advance tickets begin at $12 for general admission on Saturday, with two-day, wine tasting, culinary pairing and all-access VIP packages available. Children ages 12 and younger receive free general admission. Access to the Paella Village, wine pavilion and select hospitality areas varies by ticket level.
