Michael at Rooftop Cinema Club

Michael Jackson’s rise from Jackson Five prodigy to global pop figure comes to the rooftop screen in Miami Beach. Michael screens Friday, July 17 at 7:30 p.m. at Rooftop Cinema Club South Beach. The biographical film follows Jackson’s early talent, solo ambitions and the performances that helped define his career.

Directed by Antoine Fuqua, the film stars Jaafar Jackson, Michael Jackson’s nephew, in the title role, with a cast that includes Nia Long as Katherine Jackson, Colman Domingo as Joe Jackson, Miles Teller as John Branca and Laura Harrier as Suzanne de Passe. The story traces Jackson’s life on and off stage, including his childhood with the Jackson Five, his creative discipline and the pressures surrounding his pursuit of worldwide fame.

The screening takes place in Rooftop Cinema Club’s open-air setting, with skyline views and reserved outdoor seating. Ticket options include Adirondack seating, Adirondack seating with popcorn and double-wide loveseat seating with popcorn, sold in pairs.
