Michaël Brun: Haitian Flag Day Celebration
May 17, 2026
Starting: 11:30 PM
Haitian DJ and producer Michaël Brun brings a genre-blending Haitian Flag Day celebration to LIV at the Fontainebleau Miami Beach. The late-night performance takes place Sunday, May 17, with doors listed at 11:30 p.m. The set is expected to draw from Brun’s mix of electronic music, Haitian konpa, Afrobeats and Caribbean rhythms.
Born and raised in Port-au-Prince, Brun has built an international career centered on connecting Haitian music with global dance culture. He has performed at major festivals including Ultra Music Festival and Coachella, founded the Kid Coconut label and created BAYO, a Haitian music-focused event series whose name comes from the Haitian Creole phrase meaning “to give.” His collaborations include work with artists such as J Balvin, John Legend, Rutshelle Guillaume, Davido, Victoria Monét and Diplo.
The event takes place at LIV, the long-running nightlife venue inside the Fontainebleau Miami Beach. The Miami Beach club features a 22,000-square-foot space with its signature dome, large-scale lighting, upgraded sound technology and a stage LED screen. Admission is limited to guests 21 and older, and upscale nightlife attire is encouraged.
