MOAD Moves: Salsa Workshop with Michelle Gonzalez de la Cruz

Beginner-friendly salsa instruction introduces the fundamentals of footwork, rhythm and timing inside the Knight Skylight Gallery at Freedom Tower Miami. Taking place Sunday, August 30, the workshop is led by Michelle Gonzalez de la Cruz and is presented as part of the Museum of Art and Design at Miami Dade College’s MOAD Moves programming.

The class starts with basic salsa steps and timing before progressing into guided practice that combines the movements into short sequences. Designed for participants of all ages and experience levels, the workshop offers an accessible introduction to one of the dance traditions closely associated with Miami’s Latin cultural landscape.

The workshop is free and open to the public. Attendees may park free of charge in MDC Parking Lot 1, located on the south side of the Freedom Tower.
