MoBlack Records: Miami Music Week
Mar 29, 2026
Starting: 8:00 PM
Afro house takes center stage at Toe Jam Backlot in Wynwood as MoBlack Records lands for a Miami Music Week showcase curated by the influential imprint’s founder.
Helmed by Italian DJ, producer and label owner MoBlack, the night reflects the global rise of Afro house, a sound he has helped champion through his Ghana-rooted project and internationally respected catalog. The lineup unfolds in order of appearance, featuring MoBlack alongside Francis Mercier, Caiiro b2b Ape Drums, Avö b2b Sparrow, and Luna Mar.
South African producer Caiiro, known for expansive, melodic house productions and his recent self-titled album, joins forces with Miami-based Ape Drums, whose evolution from dancehall and EDM into Afro-tech and Afro-house brings a percussive edge to the pairing. Portuguese DJ and producer Avö, supported by names such as Black Coffee and Keinemusik, teams up with Sparrow for a back-to-back set. Luna Mar, a New York-born DJ with Puerto Rican roots and a residency with Gray Area, rounds out the bill with a blend of classic house influences and contemporary Afro and tech sounds.
Doors open at 8 p.m. on Sunday, March 29. Admission is 21+ only. The event is rain or shine, with all sales final. VIP table inquiries can be made by calling +1 (516) 493-1710.
