MOCA x Books & Books: The Silent Reading Party

Quiet reading, contemporary art and low-key conversation come together inside MOCA North Miami’s galleries. The gathering takes place Saturday, August 8. Hosted by Alyssa Expósito, creator of Miami’s Silent Reading Party, the program is presented with support from the Books & Books Literary Foundation.

Participants may bring a current read or choose from a curated selection provided by MOCA and Books & Books. The afternoon includes dedicated time for communal reading in silence, followed by opportunities to connect with fellow readers in the museum setting.
