Moonlight at Fairchild

Candlelit paths, telescope viewing and night-blooming plants reveal a different side of Fairchild Tropical Botanic Garden after sunset. The event takes place Friday, July 31 and Saturday, September 26, offering two evenings of nighttime exploration beneath the moonlight. Astronomers will host celestial viewing at Bailey Palm Glade, while the Innovation Studio opens for an after-hours look at Growing Beyond Earth, Fairchild’s partnership with NASA.

Guests can follow lantern-lined trails through the Garden, visit the Wellness Terrace for mindfulness activities, guided meditation and mandala flower art or unwind to ambient music at the Lower Cycad Vista Lounge. The lounge’s Star Bar will offer seasonal cocktails, mocktails, food and charcuterie for purchase.

General admission is $35. Optional upgrades include guided moon-painting sessions and a three-course Garden Pairing Experience inspired by seasonal botanicals, with the tasting limited to guests ages 21 and older. Advance reservations are required for the premium experiences, and the event takes place rain or shine.
