Mother’s Day at The Shelborne by Proper

Champagne, caviar, live music and custom poetry shape a Mother’s Day afternoon at The Bar at The Shelborne By Proper on Miami Beach. The celebration takes place Sunday, May 10 from noon to 6 p.m., offering a relaxed alternative to a traditional brunch. Guests can order from the regular à la carte menu, along with Mother’s Day specials including Royal Ossetra caviar served with guacamole and tostada, spritzes and bottomless rosé.

The afternoon includes live music by Young Musicians Unite, on-the-spot custom poems by Neysa King based on three words chosen by guests and small bouquets created by a florist for mothers to take home. The experience is designed as a leisurely lunch or afternoon gathering, with food, drinks and personal touches throughout the day.

The Bar serves as a central gathering space at The Shelborne By Proper, moving from daytime coffee, meals and conversation into an evening setting for dinner and cocktails. Its coastal menu features shareable plates, seasonal dishes and cocktails suited to a Miami Beach setting.
