Movement as Medicine & Restorative Sound
Mar 14, 2026
From: 7:00 PM to 8:30 PM
A guided movement and sound experience invites participants into a slower, more intuitive relationship with the body, where safety, presence and self-trust take priority over performance.
Movement as Medicine & Restorative Sound takes place Saturday, March 14 at The Standard Spa, Miami Beach. Blending gentle, free-flowing movement with restorative sound and a somatic approach rooted in Tantric philosophy, the session creates space to explore how the body responds when it feels supported rather than pushed. The experience centers on listening inward, releasing held tension and allowing movement to emerge organically, with sound serving as an anchor throughout.
Led by integrative healer and movement guide Jodi Carey alongside sound practitioner and wellness producer Eileen Moran, the gathering draws from decades of experience in trauma-informed movement, sound therapy and holistic health. Their combined approach emphasizes accessibility and care, making the session open to all bodies and experience levels.
The ticket includes access to The Standard Spa’s indoor baths following the session, extending the restorative arc of the experience. Participants are encouraged to arrive with curiosity and an open heart, leaving with a deeper sense of grounding and connection to their own internal rhythm.
