Neon Nights
Apr 10, 2026 - Apr 11, 2026
From: 7:30 PM to 9:30 PM
A luminous, immersive chamber music experience transforms the New World Center on Miami Beach with two nights of live performance set within a glowing neon installation.
Neon Nights takes place Friday, April 10 and Saturday, April 11 at the New World Center on Miami Beach. Performed by Fellows of the New World Symphony, the special event presents chamber works spanning Baroque to contemporary repertoire, framed by an environment that reimagines the concert hall as a vibrant visual and sonic landscape.
The program features music by Bach, Handel, de Falla, Ravel, Mendelssohn, Borodin, Reena Esmail, Lou Harrison, Shostakovich and Leonard Bernstein, highlighting a wide range of styles, ensembles and expressive approaches. Selections move fluidly between intimate instrumental textures and richly layered compositions, culminating in Bernstein’s “Make Our Garden Grow” from Candide, arranged for chamber forces.
Presented over two evenings only, the performances combine classical repertoire with immersive design, offering an alternative concert format that emphasizes atmosphere, proximity and sensory engagement within one of Miami Beach’s most distinctive performance spaces.
