An evening of bold choreography and inspired movement comes to Sanctuary of the Arts as the New World Dance Ensemble takes the stage with a 90-minute program of contemporary and neoclassical works.
The performance on Friday, October 17 features Robert Battle’s spirited Coming Home, Paul Taylor’s joyful masterpiece Esplanade (excerpt), Jamar Roberts’ dynamic Circle Meets the Line, Robert Garland’s playful Joplin Dances and Maleek Washington’s enigmatic group work Blink. Together, the program highlights the artistry and range of some of today’s most celebrated choreographers, brought to life by the ensemble’s expressive dancers.
