An elegant New Year’s Eve dinner sets the tone at Bellini, where a five-course prix fixe menu highlights refined Italian cooking and a festive atmosphere suited to the final night of the year. Designed for guests looking to celebrate with thoughtfully prepared dishes and a polished setting, the evening unfolds across both the dining room and the hotel’s rooftop pool deck.
New Year’s Eve at Bellini offers seatings beginning at 5 p.m. and concluding with the final seating at 10:45 p.m. The menu opens with a Pink Moon oyster amuse-bouche before moving into appetizers such as scampi carpaccio, amberjack tartare with mint oil and caviar, Pata Negra with compote and beef carpaccio finished with white truffle. Pasta and risotto selections include fregola with seafood, short rib cannelloni with black truffle, vegetable lasagna and an ovo raviolo accented with white truffle. Main courses range from herb-roasted Hawaiian tuna and sea bream with spinach purée to a New York steak served with roasted baby carrots. Dessert options feature vanilla gelato, eggnog cheesecake, pavlova with mixed berries and Mr. C’s signature chocolate cake.
After dinner, the celebration continues on the rooftop, where a DJ plays from 8 p.m. to 1 a.m. in a setting overlooking Coconut Grove. An $85 per-person deposit is applied toward the $260 prix fixe menu, and an elegant dress code is in effect for the evening. Early seatings allow a maximum dining time of two hours, and while preferences are noted, specific table locations cannot be guaranteed.
