NFL Alumni Talk Wellness takes place Monday, June 16 from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Presented by Modern ŌM, the program delves into topics such as men’s mental health, emotional intelligence and the evolving definitions of masculinity. The speakers will share their personal journeys from elite competition to wellness leadership, reflecting on healing, recalibration and discovering purpose beyond sports.
Desmond Bryant, a former NFL defensive lineman and Harvard graduate, is now the owner of Hanu Yoga Studio and an advocate for mindful living. Wes Saunders, once a tight end for the Pittsburgh Steelers, speaks candidly about his spiritual and emotional evolution. Derick Grant, a former Harlem Globetrotter turned mindset coach, guides individuals in shifting internal narratives to cultivate clarity and personal empowerment.
The event is open to the public, though it will be held in a members-only venue. Dress code is elevated casual. Paid street and garage parking are available nearby. Guests are encouraged to arrive with curiosity and an openness to engage in thoughtful conversation.
