Nicolas King at La Poubelle
Jan 04, 2026
From: 7:00 PM to 9:30 PM
A cabaret evening unfolds at La Poubelle as MAC Award-winning vocalist Nicolas King returns to the intimate North Beach venue for a night of songs and storytelling. Known for his polished stage presence and charismatic delivery, King brings a new program to the room after last year’s sold-out performance.
Doors open at 7 p.m., with cocktails and a menu of small plates prepared by Silverlake Executive Chef and La Poubelle co-founder Benoit Rablat. Cabaret seating places guests at shared tables, and each ticket includes a $25 food-and-beverage minimum. The show begins at 8 p.m., with options for general admission and limited VIP seating.
Tucked behind an alley door marked by a discreet “Shhhhhhh” sign, La Poubelle is a 50-seat cabaret known for its velvet drapery, vintage ambiance and close-up performances spanning jazz, musical theater and storytelling. The venue opens only on show nights, creating an intimate setting that feels equal parts neighborhood secret and theatrical throwback.
This event takes place Sunday, January 4 and is open to guests 21 and older. Tickets are required.
