Post-punk, darkwave and goth-leaning sounds fill Churchill’s Pub for a late-night bill led by Los Angeles-based artist DXRKKNGHT. Nights In Necropolis Presents: DXRKKNGHT & More takes place Friday, July 31 in Little Haiti. The lineup also features His Panic, The Grey Tones and Lady Reaper.
DXRKKNGHT brings a distinctive approach to darkwave and post-punk, blending Jamaican patois vocals with gothic instrumentation, shoegaze textures and elements of hip-hop. Originally from Florida and now based in Los Angeles, the project builds brooding, atmospheric songs around raw vocal delivery and shadowy guitar-driven arrangements.
The show is presented by Nights in Necropolis, a South Florida promoter focused on underground dance gatherings and dark alternative music events. The evening continues Churchill’s long connection to independent and underground music, with a lineup centered on post-punk, darkwave and related subcultural sounds. Presale tickets are $11.25, with admission at the door priced at $15 for guests ages 21 and older and $20 for guests under 21.
