Noche De Arte: EiY Emily Peters

Live artmaking, collage and conversation come together in a weekly creative gathering at InterContinental Miami. Noche de Arte takes place every Monday in July at Gallery 100 inside the hotel. Presented with collaboARTive, the free program invites hotel guests, locals and visitors to meet the featured artist-in-residence while taking part in hands-on creative activities.

The July 2026 artist-in-residence is EiY Emily Peters, a Miami-based sustainable artist and musician working across fiber, metal, sound and participatory installation. Her exhibition SUññATA brings together zero-waste textile works, sound, film and performance, with a focus on deep listening, self-inquiry and the natural elements. Peters often uses discarded materials, earth pigments and non-toxic methods, drawing on subtropical herbalism, permaculture, movement practices and vocal traditions in her work.

During each Monday session, guests can spend time with the artist inside an environment of earth-dyed, hand-formed textile works while exploring creative practices such as collage, mark-making, sound immersion and free movement. Light bites will be provided by InterContinental Miami, and no prior art experience is required.
