Miami Beach’s OnStage! series opens Hispanic Heritage Month with live music, art and community on the sand at Altos Del Mar Park.
Onstage! Live En La Playa: Jacuzzi Boys & Sonora Tukukuy takes place Saturday, October 11, featuring Miami’s own Jacuzzi Boys with a fuzzed-out tribute to Spanish pop alongside their signature garage rock sound. They are joined by Allapattah’s Sonora Tukukuy, known for psychedelic cumbia, and DJ Le Spam, founder of Spam Allstars, spinning from his eclectic vinyl collection.
The Mobile Dále Zine Truck will serve as a traveling gallery of cumbia-inspired artwork, inviting guests to explore record cover designs, label logos and posters before creating their own. Presented by the City of Miami Beach, the free event runs from 6 to 10 p.m. with RSVP.
