Oolite Arts On the Move
May 16, 2026
From: 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM
A hands-on family art class celebrates Haitian Heritage Month through creative activities inspired by Haitian culture and artistic traditions. Oolite Arts On the Move launches Saturday, May 16 from 5 to 7 p.m. in the Art Room at the Little Haiti Cultural Complex. The free program is open to all ages with RSVP, with capacity limited to 50 participants.
The class is led by Oolite Arts alumni and Haitian artists Stephen Arboite and Mark Delmont, who will guide participants step by step as they create their own artwork. Along the way, the teaching artists will share techniques, stories and cultural context connected to Haitian art and heritage.
Oolite Arts On the Move is a community engagement initiative that brings Oolite Arts programming into Miami neighborhoods through partnerships with cultural and public institutions. The series offers free, artist-led Family Day events designed to make creative experiences more accessible across the city.
