Paint with Purpose: Pottery for Holocaust Survivors
May 17, 2026
From: 10:00 AM to Noon
A hands-on pottery session at Color Time Café invites participants to create handmade gifts for Holocaust survivors through a family-friendly community program. Taking place Sunday, May 17 in Sunny Isles Beach, the event is organized by Jewish Community Services of South Florida as part of its Tikkun Olam Families initiative, emphasizing acts of service. Participants will paint ceramic pieces that will be donated to survivors, many of whom are homebound and experiencing isolation.
Each attendee who paints will complete a pottery piece with guidance from on-site artists, contributing to a gesture intended to offer comfort and personal connection. The program is open to all ages and designed to encourage participation from families, couples and individuals.
Tickets include one pottery piece to be donated, along with materials and kosher snacks, with advance registration required.
