A landmark farewell performance marks the closing chapter of a five-decade career that helped shape Spanish-language pop and ballad music. Singer and actress Paloma San Basilio brings her final world tour to Miami for an evening centered on the songs and artistry that defined her legacy.
Born in Madrid, San Basilio rose to prominence in the 1970s and became one of Spain’s most internationally recognized vocalists, known for her expressive delivery and crossover success in music, theater and television. Over the course of her career, she released more than 30 albums, sold over 16 million records worldwide and earned multiple awards, including Latin Grammy recognition for her contributions to music. Her repertoire spans romantic ballads, pop standards and theatrical works, with signature songs that resonated across Spain, Latin America and Spanish-speaking audiences globally.
The Miami performance serves as the final stop of her Gracias Tour, a retrospective program that revisits highlights from across her catalog while offering a closing salute to a long and influential career.
Paloma San Basilio performs Sunday, April 12 at the James L. Knight Center in downtown Miami.
