Petah Coyne: How Much a Heart Can Hold
Through Mar 14, 2026
weekly on Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday
From: 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM
How Much A Heart Can Hold invites viewers to explore Petah Coyne’s work as a multifaceted and long-running conversation about the complexity and creativity of women. Divided into three sections, Women’s Work, Women’s Relationships and Women Obscured & Transformed, the exhibition demonstrates how these themes intertwine across Coyne’s oeuvre, reflecting the ways her art is in dialogue with both contemporary peers and historical figures.
On view September 19, 2025 through March 14, 2026 at the Lowe Art Museum, the exhibition is organized by the Chazen Museum of Art at the University of Wisconsin-Madison and is accompanied by a fully illustrated scholarly catalogue.
