A wooden puppet encounters a circus, criminals and the consequences of his own lies while pursuing his dream of becoming a real boy. Performances take place Saturday, July 25 at 3 p.m. and Sunday, July 26 at 11 a.m. at the Sandrell Rivers Theater.
Written by Adyel Quintero and directed by Lilliam Vega, Pinocchio, A Real Boy combines live music, magic and family theater in a new telling of the familiar story. Along the way, Pinocchio must confront deception, danger and a whale as he learns whether love can overcome dishonesty.
Tickets range from $25 to $30. The production is presented in partnership with Fantasy Theatre Factory.
