PJ Kids Performance

Bilingual songs, live percussion and audience participation come together in a family concert at the Museum of Contemporary Art, North Miami. Presented Sunday, October 4 following Sunday Stories, the performance features PJ Kids, a Miami family band led by Latin Grammy-nominated singer-songwriters Periko and Jessi León with their young son Milo on drums.

The trio’s songs are written for children and adults to enjoy together, with themes including kindness, confidence, facing fears, cooperation and imagination. The program also incorporates a short meditation for children and interactive moments that invite families to sing and move along with the music.

PJ Kids grew from Periko and Jessi’s work as a musical duo after Milo began playing drums with them, turning their performances into a family project centered on bilingual music and positive messages.
