An evening of poetry and inspiration brings readers and writers together at Books & Books in Coconut Grove.
Poetry Pops takes place Wednesday, October 22, presented in collaboration with SWWIM (Supporting Women Writers in Miami). Guests will enjoy sparkling wine and draw “pops” of inspiration from the bookstore’s poetry shelves as part of an interactive literary experience. Admission is free.

Founded by Jen Karetnick and Catherine Esposito Prescott, SWWIM is a Miami-based nonprofit dedicated to amplifying women-identifying and gender-expansive poets. Through its reading series and online journal SWWIM Every Day, the organization has built a vibrant literary community recognized nationally, with work appearing in Best American Poetry, Best of the Net, Poets.org and more.
