Queer Crafts

Spend a relaxed evening creating, connecting and building community in the heart of South Beach. This monthly meetup invites LGBTQ individuals and allies to bring along a craft, art project or instrument—or simply show up and enjoy the company of others in a welcoming outdoor setting.

Queer Crafts takes place on the second Thursday of each month through December 11 at Flamingo Park on Miami Beach. Participants are encouraged to bring any creative activity they’re working on, from knitting and painting to journaling or music. No supplies or experience are necessary, and all are welcome to attend regardless of whether they bring a project. The gathering is informal, free to join and meets at a designated spot within the park. Pay-by-phone parking is available nearby.
