Live music, local food vendors and waterfront fireworks bring an Independence Day celebration to Peacock Park in Coconut Grove. Red, White and Grove: 250 United takes place Saturday, July 4, marking America’s 250th anniversary with a free community event presented by the Coconut Grove BID, the City of Miami and Commissioner Damian Pardo, District 2. The evening is open to the public and designed for families, residents and visitors gathering near the bay.
The lineup features two-time Grammy Award winner Tony Succar and his band, along with Orlando Mendez, known as The Cuban Cowboy. DJ Mdot hosts the program, which also includes Taste of the Grove food vendors and family-friendly activities.
Guests are encouraged to bring lawn chairs or blankets for the outdoor celebration. The event concludes with a fireworks finale over the Coconut Grove waterfront.
