Renew, Rest and Replenish: Mini-Retreat to Start the New Year

Start the New Year with a day of introspection and intention-setting on Sunday, January 7 at Patch of Heaven Sanctuary. Based on the yogic practice of Sankalpa, this 4 hour mini-retreat provides a powerful and empowering atmosphere for setting a purposeful path for the year ahead. Attendees will experience Yoga Nidra and Earthwalking, as a means to rest the body, along with a session of Earth Sky Body Scan practice. Light bites will be served for lunch.
Based on the Hindu practice of "Deep Yogic Sleep" (akaYoga Nidra), attendees will partake in upright seated meditation, meditation via shivasana (lying down in corpse pose) and silent Earthwalking in the Forest for a "slow living" experience.

Mini-retreat commences with Vow of Quiet Invitation for the Day

What is intention setting vs. manifesting? How to rest into intention from the Shante Ishta (Eye of the Heart)
11:45 a.m.
Prepare and settle into Yoga Nidra (deep rest or yogic sleep)
12:30 p.m.
Awaken into silent walking in the forest
1:00 p.m.
Light bite for lunch and mindful eating awareness practice (organic & healthy buffet)
1:30 p.m.
Mindful Earth-Sky-Body-Scan seated practice to deepen the intention
2:00 p.m.
Mindful Magic Spot Contemplation practice in the garden

Taking in the Goodness Planting Practice with Action Step and shared tea time
