Sabor Latino: A Celebration of Heritage
This event has passed.
Live music, food and community recognition frame a Hispanic Heritage Month fundraiser supporting older adults in Miami-Dade County. Presented by AYUDA Miami on Thursday, October 8 at YUCA 105 in Miami Beach, the evening features entertainment by singer and performer Melina Almodóvar along with wine, hors d’oeuvres, networking and auction and raffle opportunities.
The event also marks AYUDA Miami’s 49th anniversary. Founded in 1977, the nonprofit provides services for children, families, adults and seniors throughout Miami-Dade County.
Proceeds benefit AYUDA’s Here for You program, which supports more than 30 low-income senior residents of Stella Maris House through meals, wellness activities, social programming, emotional support and other services designed to help residents maintain independence and quality of life.
