Shorts & Beats

Short films and live music share the program for an evening presentation inside the historic Deering Estate Theater. Shorts & Beats takes place Saturday, September 19, pairing a curated screening of short films with a live performance presented in partnership with the Miami short Film Festival. The event offers a compact mix of cinema, music and gathering in an indoor cultural setting.

The evening begins with a cocktail reception at 7 p.m., followed by the film screening at 7:30 p.m. and live music at 8:30 p.m. The selected films will reflect the festival’s focus on short-form storytelling, with works typically ranging from one to 20 minutes in length.

Tickets are $45 and available online only through the Miami short Film Festival. Free parking is available in the Deering Estate Visitor Center parking lot, and the program will be held indoors in the Visitor Center Theater.
