South Florida Soul Rodeo

A weekend rodeo celebration blends Southern-style competition, live entertainment and family fun with local cultural flavor, bringing the longtime traveling South Florida Soul Rodeo to Miami-Dade County.

South Florida Soul Rodeo takes place on Saturday, May 9, 2026 at Harris Field Park in Homestead. Hosted by T D.O.G.G’s Bigg Dreams Charity, this edition is part of a season of rodeo events hosted across Florida, including stops in Ocala at the Southeastern Livestock Pavilion later in the summer.

Modeled on traditional rodeo formats with a community-oriented twist, the event features competitive action such as bull riding, ladies barrel racing, ranch bronc riding, chute dogging and junior barrel racing alongside music, food and atmosphere designed for all ages. Guests can enjoy live entertainment and regional food offerings while experiencing the pace and energy of open rodeo events.

Set at the open-air Harris Field Doc De Milly Rodeo Grounds, the afternoon and early evening provide a blend of athleticism and social gathering that celebrates both Western sports and South Florida’s vibrant local culture.
