A family trio blends Afro-Cuban rhythms and Latin influences during a live street performance in downtown Miami. Taking place Saturday, April 18, Street Stages: The Kittens is part of a free outdoor series along Flagler Street.
Led by Cuban musician Israel Rodriguez alongside his sons, Tiger on piano and Leon on drums, the South Florida–based group combines classical training with improvisation and Latin grooves. Their performances highlight the interplay between piano and percussion, shaped by Rodriguez’s musical background and the duo’s developing style.
Presented by Olympia Arts MIAMI, the Street Stages series brings live music and performance to a pedestrian-friendly section of downtown, inviting audiences to engage with local artists in an open-air setting.
