Summer Dinner Series: Cotoa
Aug 20, 2026
From: 6:30 PM to 9:30 PM
A 10-course omakase dinner brings together Uchi Miami’s nontraditional Japanese techniques and Cotoa’s ingredient-driven approach to Ecuadorian and Latin American cuisine. The one-night collaboration takes place Thursday, August 20, as part of Uchi Miami’s 2026 Summer Dinner Series.
Cotoa founder and executive chef Alejandra Espinoza joins Uchi chef de cuisine Diana Martinez to create a seasonal menu shaped by contrasting culinary traditions and collaborative storytelling. The dinner pairs Espinoza’s progressive Ecuadorian perspective with the precision and creativity that define Uchi’s contemporary approach to Japanese dining.
Founded by James Beard Award-winning chef Tyson Cole, Uchi takes its name from the Japanese word for “home” and is known for curated tastings, seasonal omakase and inventive sushi. Its Wynwood location brings that approach into Miami’s broader culinary landscape.
Tickets are $150 per person, plus tax and gratuity. Reservations are required.
