Sweat Records Annual 80s Prom

Miami’s retro dance tradition returns as Sweat Records hosts the 21st Annual ’80s Prom at ZeyZey Miami.

The event takes place Saturday, October 25, filling both indoor and outdoor spaces with music, performance and throwback style. Outside, DJs Lolo and Hottpants spin pop, freestyle and R&B classics from the decade, followed by a live set of ’80s covers from The State Of at 10 p.m. Drag artist Viola Putx adds a theatrical twist with themed performances. Inside, DJs Rippin Kittin and Babyface Blitz turn to new wave, post-punk, goth and industrial sounds, while visuals and installations by David Cordoves set the scene.

Guests are encouraged to dress in prom wear or any ’80s-inspired look, with photo ops, party favors and drink specials rounding out the night. The event is all ages, with parking available across the street from the venue.
