Tales From Tha Swamp

Cloud rap, plugg and experimental trap converge in an overnight showcase led by Florida rapper KirbLaGoop and South Florida artist-producer LazyGod. The 18-and-older event runs Friday, August 28 at The Boombox Miami. Presented by Evilplugg and Unattended Children, the program combines live performances, DJ sets and special guests from Florida and the wider underground rap scene.

KirbLaGoop is known for cloud-rap-inflected Southern trap and collaborations within Florida’s internet-rap underground. LazyGod’s work connects South Florida with the influential Reptilian Club Boyz orbit, while Vancouver experimental rapper Ego Mackey brings a layered, unconventional vocal style. Los Angeles artist RXK Kli9se adds alternative trap shaped by collaborations with RXKNephew and KirbLaGoop.

DJ sets by Mango, Icxy, Tweepea and Playshado will continue between performances, with Avi Twat billed as a special guest. Food vendors and a full bar will also be available. Guests must present a physical ID for entry; photographs of identification will not be accepted.
