The Art of Impact

Miami’s graffiti, DJ and B-boy communities gather to honor the life and influence of Miami Max, also known as SEAM MSG. The Celebration of Life takes place Saturday, May 16 from 6 to 9 p.m. at the Museum of Graffiti in Wynwood. Powered by Monster Energy, the event recognizes SEAM’s role as a mentor, cultural historian and early figure in Miami’s hip-hop scene.

The evening includes a posthumous induction into the Museum of Graffiti Hall of Fame, acknowledging SEAM’s contributions to the city’s graffiti culture and creative community. A discussion will explore his impact on Miami hip-hop and his connection to Wynwood’s artistic identity before the neighborhood became an international arts destination.

Friends, family, artists and community members are invited to share memories and reflect on a life that helped shape Miami’s underground cultural landscape.
