The Art of Wellness
This event has passed.
Art, movement, neuroscience and guided conversation come together in a daylong program focused on women’s mental and emotional well-being. Presented Saturday, October 10 at Arpi Studio in Miami Lakes, The Art of Wellness marks World Mental Health Day with an immersive format designed around participation, reflection and community connection rather than a traditional conference structure.
The program begins with movement and wellness led by Mercedes Yahia, followed by conversations on kindness, empathy, mental health and visibility. Additional sessions explore the intersection of neuroscience, art and wellness, with contributions from South Florida PBS, a performance by Clarita Spitz and a lunch program featuring music by Daniela Di Mari.
The afternoon shifts into The Art of Mindfulness, with art, music, origami, mandalas and facilitated conversation extending through 4:30 p.m. Presented by The Power of the Heels Foundation with Indigo Events, the program is intended for ages 15 and older.
