The Doral Art and Flowers Festival
Apr 25, 2025
Floral artistry and creative expression converge in this signature celebration highlighting Doral's unique status as America's flower import capital. The Doral Art and Flowers Festival returns on Friday, April 25 to the Doral Cultural Arts Center.
Hosted by the Yola Guz School of Floral Design and the Yola Guz Si Se Puede Foundation, this 5th annual event showcases top local floral designers competing across nine design categories. Visitors can enjoy cocktails and appetizers while exploring stunning floral exhibitions, community workshops and children's activities.
This year marks an exciting transition from its traditional December schedule to spring, allowing the festival to flourish in ideal weather conditions. The event will also unveil expansion plans for 2026, including a Parade of Flower Floats and the establishment of an annual "Flower Day" through a city proclamation.
The Doral Art and Flowers Festival represents the city's significant role in the floral industry, with Doral handling approximately 86 percent of the 4.5 billion fresh-cut flowers imported annually into the United States.
