The Great Miami 10K

A flat 10K course winds through Coconut Grove’s banyan-lined streets, waterfront parks and stretches overlooking Biscayne Bay. The Great Miami 10K takes place Sunday, October 4, beginning at Darwin Street and South Bayshore Drive and finishing near Miami City Hall on Pan American Drive. The out-and-back route turns around at Sunrise Drive and is USATF certified.

Presented by The Great World Run Club, the chip-timed race includes hydration stations, a participant shirt, commemorative medal, race bib, downloadable event photos and a post-race gathering. Awards will be presented to the top overall finishers as well as the leading runners in designated age groups.

Packet pickup takes place at The Hangar at Regatta Harbour, 3385 Pan American Drive, on Friday, October 2 from 2 to 8 p.m. and Saturday, October 3 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Participants must present identification and the registration QR code to collect their bib and race shirt; another person may pick up a packet with the registrant’s confirmation email and a copy of their photo ID.

Participants must be at least 10 years old, with a parent or guardian waiver required for runners under 18. Adaptive athletes are welcome, including visually impaired and guided runners, blade runners and participants using push-rim wheelchairs.
