The Moth StorySLAM: Schooled

Five-minute true stories about lessons learned through teachers, family, mistakes, lucky breaks and hard-won experience take the stage in an open-mic competition. The program takes place Thursday, August 13 at the Sandrell Rivers Theater.

Presented as part of The Moth’s StorySLAM series, Schooled invites audience members to share personal stories inspired by the evening’s theme. Participants may draw from formal education, advice from mentors, difficult encounters or unexpected moments that changed how they understood themselves and the world.
