A landmark chapter in global electronic music arrives as Time Warp makes its Miami debut, bringing its uncompromising house and techno ethos to Factory Town in Hialeah.
Founded in Mannheim, Germany in 1994, Time Warp has become one of the world’s most influential techno festivals, known for marathon programming, meticulously engineered sound systems, and a curatorial philosophy that places music above spectacle. Over three decades, the festival has built a reputation for hosting extended DJ sets from leading figures in house and techno, presented in industrial-scale spaces designed to prioritize acoustics, flow, and immersion. Its stripped-back visual language and precise production have made Time Warp a reference point for serious dance-floor culture worldwide.
The Miami edition marks the festival’s first appearance in the city and only its second U.S. outpost, following New York. Set within Factory Town’s raw, open-air warehouse environment, the event is positioned as a direct translation of the original Time Warp experience rather than a reimagined spin-off. The focus remains firmly on long-form DJ performances, tightly programmed lineups and a crowd-forward atmosphere built for endurance rather than interruption.
