Costumes, trick-or-treating and hands-on crafts lead into a family screening of Pixar’s Toy Story of Terror at Seminole Theatre in Homestead. The Halloween event takes place Saturday, October 31, with pre-show activities beginning when doors open at 2 p.m. before the movie starts at 3:30 p.m. Young guests can take part in a costume contest, visit treat stations and make Halloween-themed crafts before settling in for the screening.
Released in 2013, Toy Story of Terror follows Woody, Buzz, Jessie and the rest of the toys after an unexpected stop at a roadside motel turns into a mystery when members of the group begin disappearing. The half-hour special mixes the familiar humor of the Toy Story films with a light horror-movie setup suited to younger audiences.
Costumes are encouraged, and separate child and adult tickets are available.
Tickets starting at $14.84 adult | $9.48 child
