Under the Disco Ball returns to ZeyZey with a deep dive into modern disco and house, featuring one half of the iconic duo Metro Area.
On Friday, October 10, Under the Disco Ball Ft. Darshan Jesrani (Metro Area) spotlights Brooklyn-based producer and DJ Darshan Jesrani, whose work with Morgan Geist as Metro Area helped define the nu-disco revival of the early 2000s. Their 2002 debut album, and tracks like “Miura” and “Atmosphrique”, are still celebrated as touchstones of sophisticated dance music.
Known for blending classic disco boogie, synth-pop and house aesthetics into forward-looking club music, Jesrani brings a curated set that reflects his broad influences and nuanced craftsmanship.
The night takes place in ZeyZey’s open-air cultural space, with cocktails, natural wines and tacos from Tacos María available. Attendees must be 18 or older.
