Vice City Festival Du Noir

Heavy underground music, movement classes and dark performance art converge at Churchill’s Pub for a subculture-focused festival in Little Haiti. Vice City Festival Du Noir takes place Sunday, August 9, with a 12-hour program that blends live bands, vinyl DJ sets, burlesque, aerial performance, local vendors and community benefit efforts. The event is presented as a tribute to rock ’n’ roll legacy, somatic movement and Miami’s underground creative scene.

The music lineup includes Los Angeles band Blood Orchid, South Florida post-punk duo His Panic, Miami multi-instrumentalist Lone Wolf One Man Band and vinyl sets by DJ Rick Smith, known for his work with Torche and Shitstorm. The day also includes a Pole Dancing 101 class, with movement programming serving as part of the festival’s wellness-inspired format.

Additional programming includes burlesque, dark cirque and aerialist performances, live green room karaoke and a marketplace with more than 20 local wellness, vintage and handmade vendors. A portion of proceeds will benefit Venezuela Relief Aid.
